The Code of Best Corporate Practices (Código de Mejores Prácticas Corporativas) was issued in 1999 by the Committee of Best Corporate Practice established by the Business Coordinating Council (Consejo Coordinador Empresarial). This Code states corporate governance recommendations for Mexican companies.

The second revised version of the Code, which we place here, was published on April 2010 to include new considerations on the subject.

The principles of the Code are aimed at establishing the best corporate practices to improve the integration and functioning of the Board of Directors and the intermediate support bodies. The principles are applicable to all types of public and private companies, regardless of their size, activity or shareholding structure.
